Skill:1. At least 2 years work experience as application performance engineering (tuning, benchmarking) 
2. Must have work experience as a developer - using modern and leading development languages and platforms - Java, C++, C etc.
3. Very clear understanding of concepts related to performance engineering
4. Must be well familiar with industry leading databases (oracle etc.) - concept wise, able to write complex and efficient queries with concepts clear in RDBMS.
5. Hands on Unix/Linux user level experience - proficient in using Unix/Linux commands
6. Proficiency in some scripting languages - Shell Scripting, AWK, Perl, Oracle Pl*Sql, Ruby
