Currently we have an immediate open position for “Automation Tester (QTP) (OSS /BSS Domain” with one of our Client in Mumbai.

     Location : Mumbai

 

      Start Date: Looking for Immediate Joiners 

 

      Employment Mode : Full Time Employee of Magna Infotech and will  be Deployed at Client location.

Role:

-          Understand Telecom Business requirements and OSS/BSS Solution Architecture

-          Conduct Vendor evaluation

-          Conduct System, Integration, User Acceptance and Regression Testing

-          Participate in Test Strategy planning

-          Create documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.

-          Planning and designing Test Cases

-          Develop automated tests for the test cases

-          Design and develop tools for test management, execution and reporting to enhance the overall software testing process

-          Monitor program performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of defects

-          Following up on issues/defects with Developers

-          Recording and monitoring detailed metrics to track the progress and outcomes of the testing process

-          Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design, product evaluation and quality assurance

-          Develop utility programs to test, track, and verify defects in software program

-          Conduct compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs

-          Be able to identify differences between established standards and user applications and suggest modifications to conform to standards

Job Requirements

-          Candidate should be a Graduate/Post Graduate in Telecom / Computer Science

-          Knowledge of LTE (4G) technology, 3GPP specifications, protocols, and signaling is essential

-          Three years of Telecom lab testing experience in OSS / BSS domain is a must

-          Experience in HP-Assurance / Telcordia-Ericsson Fulfillment / TIBCO / SAP-CRM and or SAP-Billing would be preferred

-          Very good experience in Pre-paid charging system

-          Knowledge of various Testing tools and their application is a must

-          Experience in SOAP UI, HTTP, XML, CORBA, SNMP, RESTful API's, Web Services, MySQL, UNIX, LINUX, RDBMS, JavaScript is essential

-          Functional Testing, System Integration, Interoperability(IOT), End-to-End, Tariff, Regression and User Acceptance Test

-          Experience with reviewing requirements and developing test cases based on those requirements

-          Knowledge of processes involved in the testing lifecycle is essential

-          White-box testing experience at the unit, integration and system levels

-          Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

-          Must be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced start-up environment

-          Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are critical

-          The ability to work as a team player is essential
