Position: QA Engineer (QTP/Selenium)
Job Location: Pune
Experience: 3-4 years
Responsibilities:
* Acts as technical Engineer for automated test development and execution efforts
* Completes own assignments on schedule and assists team lead in keeping the overall effort on schedule.
* Executes and monitors automated feature and performance testing for scheduled and out of cycle releases.
* Maintains a good working relationship with the Manual QA and development team.
* Is involved in all aspects of the Product Life Cycle including PRD, MRD and FSD with a focus on technical aspects.
* Attends regular triage meetings and actively participates in the process as defined.
* Interfaces with other teams/products for integrations.
* Captures, analyzes, and reports on automated testing results and assists team lead in gathering metrics.
* Reviews manual Test Cases, Use Cases, Test Plans, and other documentation as required.
* Writes automated Test Cases and testing infrastructure.
* Sets up and maintains automated testing environments.
* Handles and assists with customer escalations as needed.
* Enters bugs into bug tracking system appropriately. Uses bug tracking system to document testing activities.
* Participates in design and development of internal test tools and evaluation of 3rd party tools.
* Coordinates code reviews
Required/Must Have Skills:
* 3+ Years development and/or 2+ years QA automation experience.
* Experience with commercial UI and Performance automation tools is required. (Selenium, QTP, Load Runner)
* Experience with commercial bug tracking tools - JIRA.
* Experience with Web Application Automation Testing using Selenium Web Driver (IE) with Java using Page Objects, Hybrid frame work.
* Candidate should have solid understanding of object oriented programming languages (Java).
