Job Location: Pune

Position: Senior Quality Analyst

Job Description:

* 3+ years of relevant QA experience
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience testing web application software

Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide feedback to individuals developers and development team regarding product quality
* Write and run test cases with the customer in mind
* Manually test new features and bug fixes
* Investigate reported bugs
* Provide feedback on bug process and help to prevent customers reaching bugs
* Assist with web application deployments for test environments
* Provide opinions on the overall quality of builds leading to a release
* Assist with customer scenarios that may not have previously been tested

Additional Responsibilities:

* Setting up and managing continuous integration environments
* Creating and setting up automation for building and test environments
* Use scripting languages to drive a web browser using a technology like Selenium to automate test cases
* Produce automated feedback dashboard so developers and product management will value the automation
* Lead and teach others how to produce automation that also works with continuous integration environments
* Maintain automation so that it copes with product changes and automation changes

Concepts you should be familiar with:

* Test Case Database
* Continuous Integration
* OWASP
* XSS vulnerabilities
* SQL injection
* HTML validation

Technologies you should be familiar with:

* Java
* Maven and Ant
* A relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
* JavaScript
* Subversion
* A scripting language such as Python or Ruby
* Shell scripting in Linux
* A continue integration server
* Selenium
* Linux
