Role Overview Working as a 'Test Engineer' and reporting to a Module Lead / Test Lead in Telecom projects to prepare test design, execute test cases, log defects and managing those defects till closure. Detailed Accountabilities
* Prepare Clarification document & Understand the Application under Test
* Identify and understand Scope of work
* Prepare & review Scenarios, test conditions, test cases & scripts
* Prepare & Review Test data
* Execute test cases
* Prepare / Review Defect Log
* Attending defect review meetings
* Interact with customers and other technical support staff to ensure effective resolution of problems
* Present test results to individuals and groups
* Guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel Top must haves(Detailed Mandatory Technical requirements)
* 2-3 Y of total work experience in telecom testing
* Good Domain knowledge in Telecom domain especially with OSS and BSS work experience in fixed line area.
* Hands on experience on any of the following - Order Life Cycle Management, Service Provisioning and Fulfillment
* Hands on experience on testing of any of the OSS/BSS Stacks related to fixed line with exposure to o E2E Testing o User Acceptance testing
* Ability to analyze the issues by trouble shooting
* Ability to identify and track defects to closure Good to have skills (additional Technical Skillsets )
* Worked on OSS/BSS Verticals with other Telecom Operators
* Worked on OSS platforms like NRM, ASAP etc,.
* Worked on multiple testing projects for Fixed line Services Desired candidate profile- Age criteria Gender preferences Years of Experience Personal attributes for fitment
* BE in any discipline.
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Good attitude towards work and handling work pressure
* Good energy levels with a tact of interpersonal skills
