A Test Analyst is responsible for requirement understanding, requirement analysis, creating test scenarios, test cases, test data with the help of provided business, design and Technical documents and execute the same & report defects to develop. He ensures the project is delivered with high quality

Job Description-

The Test Analyst will be responsible for following activities:-

*Understand Customer Processes *Understand Business & Functional requirements *Requirement Analysis *Gap Analysis *Understand Deployment Standards *Assist Test Lead with test phase & test cycle planning *Review Business requirements / Use cases *Clarify requirement gaps with Business Analyst and Developers *Follow-up with business and Dev regarding outstanding/pending tasks *Prepare, Verify & Validate Test Data *Prepare & Review Test Case/Test Scenarios *Review Test scenarios and Test Cases *Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix *Execute Test Cases and Test Scenarios *Capture Test Results *Prepare Test Summary Report *Test automation script writing *Test automation scripts execution *Ensure Test Case coverage *Reporting progress and issues to the Test Coordinator/Test Lead *Defect Reporting & Analysis *Ensure readiness of Test Environment. *Report progress at regular status meetings *Ensure that testing processes are followed *Assist test lead to do Analysis and draft interpretation *Assist to test lead in defining ETVX *Identify Project and Testing risks *Defect Root Cause Analysis *Conduct Knowledge Sharing sessions *Conduct defect Analysis meeting *Coordinate with dev & business team *Prepare Weekly and Daily Status Reports *Prepare Test Closure Report *Ensure the project is delivered with high quality

*Requirement Analysis *Good understanding to STLC *Exposure to Test Management & Defect Management tools *Knowledge of Functional & Non-Functional tools *Experience on Database Testing *Strong knowledge of component integration Testing *Knowledge of (-Ve test case, boundary value, equivalence partition, bottom up & top up approach) to write the precise Test Cases *Understand ETVX Model *Experience and exposure to Test Automation Tool -QTP, Selenium
