Location: Pune
Key accountabilities (Role Description)
* Design test cases from functional and requirement specifications
* Years testing experience in CRM-Siebel-CRM, EBS and Java testing
* Telecom domain experience mandatory
* Unix, SQL, Siebel, CRM, Billing experience mandatory
* Automation exp. preferred
* Design test cases from functional and requirement specifications.
* Creation and maintenance of test cases.
Execute manual test cases
* Knwoledge of test management tool (preferably IBM tools).
* Produce clear, concise and reproducible bug reports , Report blockers if any.
* Work to project deadlines, priorities workload and provide progress
reports
* Creation and maintenance of test scripts.
* Execute manual test scripts
* Record the result (pass/fail).
* Record any new defects uncovered during the test execution
* Provide comments on any defects that are discovered during testing
* Retest as necessary
* Participate in User Acceptance Testing, report issues and test results as required.
* Produce clear, concise and reproducible bug reports.
* Work to project deadlines, priorities workload and provide progress
reports.

* understanding of common software failures and faults
* knowledge of the domain (highly desirable)
* knowledge of the system or application-under-test (highly desirable

* ISTQB foundation certification in Software testing (or equivalent) as a minimum
